Scheduling Another Stitch Fix?

Ok, so you may be thinking to yourself… What is Stitch Fix? Turns out it is such a fun service if you enjoy receiving new, trendy items for your wardrobe!

How does it work?  You sign up, and fill out a detailed personal style survey so that the stylist in charge of putting your “fix” together can choose items that would work best for you.  Some of the questions include certain colors/prints you prefer to avoid, how you prefer clothing items to fit, how much you prefer to spend on items, and they also have you rank various pictures of overall looks as “hate”, “dislike”, “like”, or “love”.  There is also a note section for your stylist.  You can leave them a note if you’re looking for a specific item or if you have a specific event coming up that you need styling for, etc.  Stitch Fix also gives you the option to link your Pinterest board to your account so that your stylist can see which pins inspire your style.  How cool is that?! Stitch Fix recently added men’s items to their service as well… so if you have a significant other that is interested, you can receive credit for referring them! Ipsy Bag- January 2017

My Ipsy bag for January 2017 is here!

Here are products included in the bag this month:

The first product I received this month was the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Anti-Aging Concealer. I received mine in the shade “Light”. This formula claims to be full-coverage and waterproof while giving radiance to the skin. I am always on the hunt for a concealer that can cover up the dark circles under my eyes, so I am looking forward to using this! For more details on this product, click here.

The second product included in my bag this month were tweezers by The Vintage Cosmetic Company. I had never heard of this company before. The tweezers are in a really pretty rose gold color. The shape of these tweezers are supposed to be slanted perfectly to get those tricky stray hairs. The tweezers come with a plastic piece on the end of them so that you’re able to throw them in a bag and not have to worry about them ruining anything. I like that Ipsy decided to throw in something different in the bag this month! For more details on this product, click here.

The third item that was in my bag this month was The Balm’s Bahama Mama bronzer. I have heard about this product, but have not yet tried it. The sample is the size of a small eye shadow (which I might end up using it as anyways), so that is the biggest downfall to me. Getting a bronzing brush in there will definitely be a challenge. But the size aside, I’m looking forward to trying this matte formula out. I’m thinking the shade will work better for me in the spring/summer months, so I’ll probably give this a try when my skin is a slightly darker shade. For more details on this product, click here.

The fourth product that I received this month was the pur-lisse Blue Lotus Seed 5-in-1 mud mask and exfoliant. This mask claims to have tons of benefits including the ability to brighten, detoxify, tighten, soothe, and exfoliate. I don’t typically use mud masks, but based on all of the potential benefits that this product claims it has, I will most certainly be trying this mask out! The last item that Ipsy included in my bag this month was the Temptu Base Smooth and Matte Primer. I have tried a bronzer from this brand, but was intrigued when I saw this primer. I absolutely LOVE trying out new primers. My skin tends to be on the dry side, so I’m hoping that even though this primer claims to be matte that it will still work for my skin. I put some on the back of my hand to test out the texture, and it did seem to be very hyrdating and fragrance free! For more details on this product, click here.
